Celebrating Success: 2026 Scholarship Recipients Announced

We are delighted to celebrate the achievement of 108 Education CHANCES Scholarships awarded to talented young students across Boroondara for 2026. It’s a milestone that fills us with pride and deep gratitude. Our heartfelt thanks go out to each of our partner schools for their unwavering collaboration throughout 2025. Together, we’re creating stronger educational pathways and supporting better outcomes for every young person in our community.

A vital part of this program is the commitment of our school nominators. These dedicated individuals, whether they’re part of a wellbeing team, a chaplain, a school leader, or a teacher, work at the heart of school life. They support students day in and day out, building meaningful relationships with young people and their families. Because they understand each student’s strengths, goals, challenges, and potential, they are uniquely placed to identify those who will benefit most from an Education CHANCES scholarship.

Once the applications arrive from our partner schools, our General Manager carefully reviews each submission. From there, every application moves through an independent review and moderation process, led by a group of volunteer reviewers who are deeply passionate about our mission. Their commitment ensures that every decision is thoughtful, fair, and focused on nurturing the future of young people in Boroondara.

Each 2026 scholarship recipient has been communicated with and it is a wonderful privilege to be able to experience a small part of the impact an ECF scholarship has on their life.
